Kawul Weddings & Events is a premier destination for weddings and special events at Calais Estate in the Hunter Valley. Set on a picturesque vineyard estate, we offer five unique event venues designed to host intimate gatherings of 12 guests through to large celebrations of up to 300 people.

Visitors can also experience the Calais Estate Cellar Door, where you can enjoy wine tastings along side our curated cheese platters, immersive food and wine pairings, or pre-order our gourmet picnic to enjoy on the grounds.

Onsite, we have an Italian street food truck operating Thursday to Sunday from 10:30am to 2:30pm, serving fresh, authentic flavours perfect for a relaxed vineyard dining experience.

Every Friday and Saturday evening, Calais comes alive with the Entwine Food Hub - featuring five chef-led gourmet food trucks, a licensed bar, live music, and artisan market stalls, making it one of the Hunter Valley’s most vibrant weekend destinations.
